When you use GemBox.Document to create a document with bold or italic text, it will use the actual bold or italic font if it is available on the system. If the font file for bold/italic is not available on the system, GemBox.Document will use the default font.
However, it would be nice if faux bold/italic would be supported, since Word also supports this feature.
